Hyros, a multichannel attribution company recently acquired by Banzai, welcomed adtech veteran Inman Breaux as its new CEO. Breaux succeeds Alex Becker, Founder of Hyros, who will take on the role of Chief Revenue Officer with a focus on product development.

Breaux brings more than 15 years of experience in customer privacy, advertising technology, operations and digital media. As CEO, he will focus on helping Hyros expand its go-to-market (GTM) strategy and accelerate the next stage of growth.

Prior to joining Hyros, Breaux served as CEO of AirNow Media and co-founded the mobile adtech company Airpush in 2010, where he served as President and COO until the company was acquired by Appscatter in 2020.

(VII), a publicly-traded special purpose acquisition company, entered into a definitive business combination agreement that will result in Banzai becoming a publicly traded company. Upon closing of the proposed transaction, the combined company will be named Banzai International, Inc. and is expected to trade on Nasdaq.

Additionally, Banzai will acquire Hyros , an ad tracking and attribution software, for $110 million in a primarily stock transaction immediately prior to closing the merger with VII. The acquisition is expected to enhance Banzai’s role as a full-stack marketing technology platform, expand its total addressable market and accelerate its long-term revenue growth and operational efficiency.

“Nobody owns the marketing category for video engagement, making Banzai a trailblazer for the industry,” said, Joe Davy, CEO and Founder of Banzai, in a statement. “Banzai satisfies engagement marketing needs with its fully integrated platform delivering analytics, audience and engagement features to marketers. Digital experience provider ON24 achieved a total revenue of $53.3 million in Q4 of 2020, bringing the company’s full year revenue to $156.9 million.The total revenue represents a 76% increase year-over-year.

Banzai Raises $15M In Venture Debt Funding

Banzai, an event platform, closed a round of venture debt funding that generated $15 million. The company will use the capital to enhance its platform.

Demoflow Secures $4M In Total Seed Funding

Demoflow, a startup platform that promotes sales team collaboration, raised $2.4 million in its second seed funding round, bringing its total seed funding to $4 million. The new funding follows an initial $1.6millionin seed funding in November 2020.
