CM Group, a family of marketing technology brands that include Campaign Monitor, Emma and Delivra, acquired Vuture, a cross-channel marketing platform for legal and professional service providers. The company also raised $410 million in funding.
Vuture expands the CM Group’s offering with email event marketing, content management, payment and survey capabilities. It also brings nearly 400 new customers to the company.
The news follows the CM Group’s acquisitions of Liveclicker and Sailthru in January. The company said it intends to maintain all Vuture employees, and that the funding will be used to fuel future acquisitions and accelerate business growth.
“At CM Group, we are on a mission to build a portfolio of customer-focused email and multichannel technologies,” said Wellford Dillard, CM Group CEO, in a statement. “This mission is driven by the fact that there are over 7,000 martech companies in the space today, making it nearly impossible for marketers to navigate the technology buying process with confidence. CM Group’s portfolio approach allows us to work collaboratively with marketers to match them with the right platform based on their specific needs.”
